Yellow Pumpkin Mug #2655

This autumnal mug was thrown on the wheel and altered to have a lobed pumpkin shape, has been painted various shades of yellow, with some orange stippling. The handle has a small curled point, and a thumb rest that both resemble vines. The foot of the mug has been specially carved to closely match the lobes. The inside of the cup was glazed with a green celadon and, the outside was glazed with a clear. The mug was fired to cone 10 in reduction which gives the outer surface some variation. 

As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 

We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2655 and is one of a kind.
