Unique pottery inspired by historical traditions

Now What?! Pottery Works formed in 2016 after many long tea fueled nights in the Humboldt State University Ceramics lab. We create beautiful handmade ceramic dinnerware that is a joy to use. Nick and Lela each have distinctive styles, yet they blend together to create beautiful one of a kind works. We also often bring in guest artists to collaborate, asking them to bring their own style into the mix.
We currently work out of our home in Portland, Oregon, and out of Radius Art Studio, where Lela instructs pottery classes and manages the glazes, and Nick teaches firing workshops.
You can find our work here on our website, available in drop format, and at Radius Art Studio, in their front gallery. Find out even more about us on our blog!

    McKennah Darrow

(aka. McGets to Decorate them Kennah)

Hi! It's McKennah! She paints mugs!

McKennah has been told all her life to stop doodling strange things in the margins of her homework or on the whiteboard while her teacher wasn't looking. Well, who looks stupid now, MRS. GRAHAM? Now McKennah contracts with NowWhat?! Pottery Works to create cute and silly designs to enjoy between the mundanity of day-to-day life. Her ultimate goal is to get weird, cute art into the home of everyone on earth (and to eat Jeff Bezos' thumbs, but one thing at a time).
