White and Purple Gourd Shaped Pitcher #2343
 
This sweet gourd shaped pitcher is ready to serve up tasty fall ciders! It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, shaped into an 8 lobed shape, the foot was altered to have little waves, the lip was cut into a spout, and a handle was added.  Finally it was glazed with a white glaze base, and then a layer of another glade around the lip, then fired to cone 10 in reduction. 

This pot is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This pitcher is number 2343.
