White and Orange Pumpkin Teapot #2292
 
This sweet pumpkin teapot is perfect for your autumn tea parties! It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, then altered to have lobes like a pumpkin. The lid was also altered to have lobes. The bottom of the teapot was altered to have cute little waves, and the handle was pulled and twisted to look like a vine. The body of the teapot is painted white underglaze, and the stippled orange underglaze stripes. The inside of the pot was glazed with a green celadon, and the outside has a coat of clear.
 
As with all of our pottery, this teapot is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This vase is number 2292, and is one of a kind.
