Tenmoku Teapot With Chattering #1687
Pretty black and brown teapot with chattering for texture. It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, chattered while trimming, assembled, then glazed, then fired to cone 10 in reduction. It has a built in tea strainer.
As with all of our pottery, this teapot is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This vase is number 1687, and is one of a kind.
