Soft Orange Mug with Green Handle #2659

Sweet and autumnal, this pumpkin mug is ready to be your perfect fall companion! It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, carefully shaped into 8 lobes, then trimmed first by the wheel, then my hand to carefully match the lobes. Then a handle was added, and the mug was painted with a gradient of orange underglazes by hand until the faded gently into each other. The handle was painted in a green underglaze, and then fired once. The mug has a white glaze on the inside, and a clear glaze on the outside. The mug was fired to cone 10 in reduction.

As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 

We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2659 and is one of a kind.
