Simple White Side Fired Tumbler #1764
 
Thrown out of a groggy stoneware clay, this cup is is perfect for iced tea and other cold drinks. It was fired to cone 10 in reduction, with white glaze over the whole cup, except three spots where the pot was placed on something called wads, and fired on its side. Those spots are bare of clay.
 
As with all of our pottery, this tumbler is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 1764 and will be the only one we make with this number.
