Rose Teapot with Flower Lid # 2480
 
This sweet rose teapot has a surprise! The inside is a vibrant copper red. This teapot was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, then all parts were assembled. The inside has a ceramic tea strainer added into the spout, and the lid has a handbuilt rose on the top. The outside is painted with various pink and red roses. It has a copper red glaze inside and a blue celadon glaze on the outside.  
 
As with all of our pottery, this teapot is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This teapot is number 2480, and is one of a kind.
