Rose Carved Mug with Altered Lip and background stripes #2456
 
Thrown, then altered and carved, this mug has roses carved into the surface of the mug, with little lines caved behind the roses. The lip was divided into four sections, then gently altered to have a curved shape. The mug was glazed with  a copper red on the inside, and a  blue celadon glaze on the outside. 
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2456.
