Red Flower Mug #1848
 
This cute flower mug is perfect for carrying the warmth of spring and summer into these cooler months. This mug was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, altered, then trimmed. The foot has little cut outs, and the handle was made through pinching. The mug was painted with various colors red and pink underglaze, and the handle and foot were painted with green underglaze. The mug was glazed with a green celadon glaze on the inside and a clear glaze on the outside, and fired to cone 10 in reduction. 
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This set is numbered 1848, and is one of a kind.
