Poppy and Lavender Mug with Altered Lip and Foot #2416
 
Sweet poppy flowers and sprigs of lavender cover the surface of this sweet mug. It was thrown on the wheel out of white stoneware, a handle was added, and the lip and foot were cut and altered. The altered lip has a small curve that makes it fit sweetly against your lips. It was painted with various underglazes, glazed with a blue celadon and fired to cone 10 in reduction. 
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2416.
