Medieval Beasties Mug #2683

Medieval illuminated manuscripts have the best little guys painted in them, and I could no longer resist painting them on the surface of my mugs. This one has a bird snail, a frog, the onion man, a spikey snail and a mushroom painted on the surface. The mug was thrown on the wheel and trimmed and handled before glazing with a green celadon on the inside and a clear on the outside.

As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2683.
