Jack O Lantern Pale Pumpkin Mug #2663

The perfect autumn companion, this sweet little double sided jack o lantern mug is perfect for the autumn season. It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, altered and trimmed to closely follow the lobes. A fancy swirled handle with an inner point and a thumb rest were added, and painted green. Then the surface of the mug was painted with various pale oranges, getting darker to layer up shadows. Finally two one of a kind little faces were painted on the either side of the mug. It was glazed with a green celadon on the inside and a clear glaze on the outside.

As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2663 and is one of a kind.
