Handbuilt Large Groggy Stoneware Tenmoku Glazed Mug #1753
 
Large and textured, this super cool stoneware handbult mug is so fun. It was made out of slabs, with a pulled handle attached. It was glazed with a tenmoku glaze, which is brown where it is thin, and black where it was thick. Something that makes this mug extra fun is that it was side fired, so you can see the spots where it was wadded during the firing, as those spots were bare. It was fired to cone 10 in reduction. 
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
