Green Celadon Carved Mug #2183
 
The surface of this mug was carved with little lines, with alternating lines off of the main lines. The pattern resembles bamboo or knitting!  It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, the lines were carved, then the mug was glazed with a green celadon and fired to cone 10 in reduction.
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2183.
