Gourd Folk and Ghost Friend Mug #2622

Some of my favorite little guys, these are the Gourd Folk! They're made of pumpkin, with the vines as their little bodies. These little friend are hanging out with one of their ghost pals.

This mug was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, then the little gourd folk and ghosts were painted on using various underglazes. It was then glazed with a blue celadon and fired to cone 10 in reduction.

As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2622.
