Dark Red Iron Simple Coffee Mug with Splash #2415
 
This mug might be simple, but the glaze is incredible!
 This mug was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware,  and glazed with a red iron glaze, then various other glazes were splashed and flicked across the surface. It was fired to cone 10 in reduction. The glaze is full of little micro crystals and matte spots, so you could look at it forever and always find something new! 
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2415.
