Blue Floral Berry Bowl with Side Handle #2084
 
Elegant and functional, this pretty berry bowl is ready to come home with you! It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, then the bowl was handled and the flower pattern was carved through the bowl. Then the flowers were painted with blue slip and green slip. Berries are meant to be washed using the bowl, but can be stored in it as well. The bowl was glazed with a blue celadon glaze, and fired to cone 10 in reduction. 
 
As with all of our pottery, this bowl is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This bowl is number 2084, and is one of a kind.
