Blue Celadon Floral Carved Tripod Porcelain Pumpkin Sculpture #2311
This candle holder is pumpkin shaped, and covered in carved flowers and leaves. The pumpkin was thrown on the wheel out of a porcelain clay, then altered, had little twisted vine feet added and then carefully carved. It was glazed in a blue celadon glaze before being fired to cone 10 in reduction.
This pot was not designed for food use.We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This candle holder is number 2311.
