Blue Celadon Carved Floral Mug #2125
 
Rather than painting on the flowers, for this mug, the floral pattern is carved into the surface. It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware, decorated by carving tulips into the surface, then glazed with a blue celadon and fired to cone 10 in reduction.
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2125.
