Banded Celadon Bowl with Wavy Rim and Altered Foot #2488
 
The pretty bowl was thrown on the wheel with a white stoneware, the rim was altered, then it was trimmed and the foot was altered and then fired. Then a band of of cobalt was added around the inside of the flared lip and one band was added on the outside. It was glazed with a blue celadon and fired to cone 10 in reduction.
 
As with all of our pottery, this bowl is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This bowl is number 2488.
