Flower inspired Copper Red Taper Candle Holder #1905
 
Inspired by vintage candle holders, from the time of only candle light, these candleholders are meant to hold 1 inch round taper candles, and for you to be able to move the candle around as needed, using the handy included handle. There is a large catch tray to help catch any candle drippings, that has been shaped into 8 lobes to look like a flower! 
This candle holder was thrown on the wheel, hand trimmed, then a handle was added. It was glazed with a copper red glaze on the inside and partly on the outside before it was fired to cone 10 in reduction. 
 
To use with a taper candle, you will need to melt the end of the candle a little to anchor it into the candle space. The candle will not sit completely flat or stay in the holder without this step. 

This pot was not designed for food use.
