Carved Cherry Blossom Branch Mug #2425
 
Cherry blossom season is truly magical, and so is this mug. Inspired by the full blooms and falling petals, this mug has cherry blossoms on a branch carved into the surface of the mug, then color was added to the carvings. It was thrown out of white stoneware , then glazed with a blue celadon, then fired to cone 10 in reduction.
 
As with all of our pottery, this mug is food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
 
We number all of our pottery for collection and storage purposes. This mug is number 2425.
